On 4 December, Stryx Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy will welcome Irina Dzyuba, an Olympic medalist and coach of Russian national team gymnasts, for an exclusive master class with our athletes. Few coaches have built a career at the top of the sport both as a competitor and as a mentor, which makes her visit a special occasion for our academy.
Dzyuba’s competitive record puts her among the leading rhythmic gymnasts of her generation. She won a bronze medal at the 1996 Olympic Games, is a two-time European Champion and won medals at three World Championships. Those results came from years of discipline and precision at the highest level of international competition, and she still brings that standard to her work today.
Since retiring from competition, she has become a successful coach. She has trained gymnasts for the Russian national team and coached a champion of the BRICS Games, as well as a champion and medalist of the International Sky Grace Cups. Her athletes are known for strong technical foundations combined with artistry and composure under pressure, and those are the qualities our coaches work to build in every gymnast at Stryx Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.
During the master class, our gymnasts will train directly under her guidance. The session will cover technique, the training methods used at the elite level, and the details of performance that separate good routines from outstanding ones. Every participant will get individual feedback, and our coaching staff will gain insights they can carry into daily training long after the event.
For our gymnasts, it is also a chance to learn from someone who has walked the path many of them hope to follow. Working with an Olympic medalist shows young athletes what dedication can achieve and gives them a clearer picture of what it takes to compete at the top.
The master class will take place on 4 December 2026. Places are limited, so families who would like their gymnast to take part are encouraged to contact their coach or the Stryx Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy team as soon as possible.
We look forward to welcoming Irina Dzyuba to Stryx Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy and are grateful to have a coach of her experience share her knowledge with our gymnasts.
