Our NBA Basketball School players had the incredible opportunity to meet and learn from 2 of the greatest players to ever play the game in March. Clyde “The Glide” Drexler and the great Tony Parker visited our NBA School practice – greeted by over 110 players. Players took part in our regular practice drills while interacting with the 2 former NBA superstars. The excitement that the players had was mind blowing and they showed it through the drills and playing during the practice.

The gym was filled with energy and it was shaking from the start to the finish. The players were chanting Clyde “The Glide”, Clyde “The Glide”, Clyde “The Glide”… and “Tony P”, “Tony P”, “Tony P”… as soon as the Legends’ walked in the gym. This knocked the Legends’ off their feet… After the Legends’ got back on their feet and the chanting calmed down, it was time for some more practice while the Legends’ walked around from basket to basket and interacted and played with the players.

In the end, the players had a chance to speak to the Legends’ and ask questions about their playing careers and how they made it to the NBA. This was a very learningful experience for all of our players, as the Legends’ gave them great advice on what they need to practice on to become great players and reach their basketball dreams.

We are very thankful for this opportunity and the chance to meet such Legends’ like Clyde “The Glide” Drexler and Tony Parker. The event could not have turned out better. Everyone was extremely excited and a bit anxious to see and meet the Legends’ in person, however, that did not stop any of the players from giving their best during the drills and while playing. Each and every one of the players brought a lot of energy to practice and this event, which made it an amazing experience for everyone involved.

We are looking forward to the upcoming events that will be taking place in the UAE and cannot wait to let you all know which legend is coming next to teach, interact, and give advice to our players.
